SEMPCheck™ Is an Internet based compliance management system that provides 24/7/365 access for the preparation and documentation of the monthly MMS (API 14-C and 30 CFR 250) inspection reports. The system verifies compliance against the Codes of Federal Regulations and archives completed reports, supporting drawings and S.A.F.E. Charts. The system also contains visual scorecards for all other mandatory MMS, Coast Guard and EPA regulatory requirements. SEMPCheck integrates color-coded warnings and pop-up alerts with intelligent applications to amalgamate, monitor, guide, error check and verify compliance performance. In the Gulf of Mexico, the SEMPCheck system is used to facilitate MMS, EPA and Coast Guard inspections. The system is engaged on over 650 facilities in the Gulf and the company has developed a rapport with the MMS that includes partnering in a number of MMS virtual e-inspection pilot programs. From their offshore district offices, MMS inspectors are able to audit site-specific compliance documents utilizing the SEMPCheck application. These joint endeavors represent the industries cooperation with the MMS government to streamline the inspection process by accessing regulatory records electronically, via the Internet. Utilization of the SEMPCheck system on a site-specific basis ensures that all regulatory documentation is in order prior to giving secured authorized access to the MMS. |
